Southwind Farms NY Equine Boarding & Breeding 

Experience the same great Southwind Equine service, in NY. We have resurrected our NY Equine facility! Over the past 35 years the NY Facility has served many purposes for the Skolnick family and the Southwind Family alike. It is a 400+ acre facility with 60 stalls updated, remodeled; a state of the art breeding shed and lab with all the laboratory equipment you could imagine. Combined with an onsite Manager that has been with Southwind for over 11 years, whom has a BS in Equine Science, CE courses from Texas A&M, CE course from Rutgers University, extensive veterinarian technician training, stallion collections, semen evaluation, frozen and fresh cooled semen handling, ultra sounding mares, breeding mares and all the emergency and supportive training in place; our facility is now on the road to being the best it has ever been! Let alone our core staff has been with us well over 7 years, they know the facility inside out.

Working closely with local and regional equine veterinarians, local nutritional experts and under new management, Southwind Farms NY goals are to grow further and excel in the Standardbred world. The NJ facility will be very much part of the NY operation as we have always been sister operations. With onsite Wi-Fi, satellite excess for all our Equine Records and a state of the art Equine Breeding software in place our records and transparency from facility to facility will be like no other. 

Both operations combined are over 650 acres of lush pastures, hay fields, updated fencing and paddocks.
