The week before he easily captured the Meadowlands Pace final, by more than five lengths, in 1:46.3 to become the only sophomore pacer to have multiple wins sub-1:47. He smashed another track record when he won the Empire Breeders Classic at Tioga Downs in 1:48.1. Named Canada’s top rookie pacing colt in 2023 with a record of six wins in nine starts including Nassagaweya, Champlain, Dream Maker and Metro elim (close second in final).
