Br 2009  • Cams Rocket – Koras Trotter by Veeba Rova

Googoo Gaagaa trotted an unreal 1:50.4 mile to win the $500,000 Earl Beal Jr. Memorial Trot for three-year-old colts and geldings on June 23 2012 at Mohegan Sun Pocono. The colt, who is bred, owned and trained by Richard Hans of Maryland, was driven by Corey Callahan. The fractional times were :27.1, :55.2, and 1:22.3 leading to the amazing winning time of 1:50.4, which shattered the world record for trotters of all ages on a five-eighths mile oval, which was the 1:51 mile posted by Arch Madness at Pocono in 2010.

Undefeated in 6 starts at two, he came back at three to have a sensational season that included 9 wins in 14 starts and over $624,000 in earnings. He won the $500,000 Earl Beal Memorial (setting a World Record 1:51.3f in the elim) and then lowered his own World Record winning the final in 1:50.4f! He also won the $500,000 Colonial (defeating Hambletonian winner Market Share) in 1:52.1—still the current track record at Harrah’s Philadelphia, as well as the Simpson Stakes at The Meadowlands. Sire of a small number of Maryland-eligible foals, he stands his first season in Pennsylvania in 2017. His pedigree makes him a perfect outcross sire that brings “hybrid vigor” to the gene pool.
