Hills Angel Upsets In Pure Ivory final

A John Bax trained filly can never be overlooked and once again Monday night at Mohawk Racetrack that statement rang true in the final of the Pure Ivory Series.

A field of 10 rookie trotting fillies contested the $35,400 final of the Pure Ivory Series. In the stretch, Pennies From Above flipped off her cover and charged to the lead, but Hills Angel stuck right with the favorite for the stretch drive and eventually overtook the lead in the final sixteenth to score the upset by a length in 1:58.4. Rose Run Reanna got up for third, while Thisladysdynamite took fourth.
